The mission of the Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City of Willoughby Hills by providing a proactive and full range of professional police services, enforcing the laws, reducing the fear of crime, promoting joint problem-solving for safe, secure neighborhoods, and working in partnerships with the community to preserve life, property, and the constitutional rights of all. Our dedication to service and commitment to excellence will ensure that we meet the present and future needs of our community.

Our Willoughby Hills Police Dept. was recently accepted into the Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network (MAGLOCLEN).It’s part of a National Network of investigative support agencies supported by funding from the Department of Justice.One of MAGLOCLEN’s primary purposes is to serve as a central database for organized criminals with interstate activities.also provides investigative support with funding, specialized equipment, and free training opportunities.
